“Babboo’s Moving Pictures” is a series of animated paintings made for Exploded View by Noah Saterstrom. While the paintings are static, each is embedded with a sequence of painted motions that were captured and edited as a short animation.

Noah’s Work-a-Day Page
In 2010, Noah began posting a new painting or drawing every day or so on the website “Noah’s Work-a-Day Page.” The endeavor began as a six-month experiment in improvisation in drawing and painting, but after three years and over 700 works posted, Noah’s Work-a-Day Page is still active.
